April Jones and her husband, Todd, founded Shepherd's Light in 2023. with the purpose of aiding financial burdens on families who have small children, ages 7 weeks to 4 years old. Having to make the tough decision between meals and daycare, April knows the feeling of budgeting for weekly daycare.
At Shepherd's Light, we are dedicated to providing childcare scholarships for families in need. We focus on supporting single-parent, low-income, or veteran families to ensure their children receive quality care.

Founders
April and Todd met in 2020 and shortly after they married. Together they have 4 children. When April gained custody of her nephew in 2015, she recognized the need for affordable yet reliable childcare access in the community. Todd understood her struggle and supported her vision of Shepherd's Light. That is their why.
